    About Therapist

This Hart Psychologist has over 29 years of experience helping individuals and couples develop strong and positive relationships within themselves and with others. She has a particular interest in working with couples facing relationship challenges, as she sees opportunity for growth of both the relationship and the people in it.

She brings a blend of warmth, intuition, and honesty in her approach to ensure that both parties feel heard and honoured.

She is trained in the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy (Level 3) and uses this as the basis of her work. In addition, she has been trained in, and uses other approaches such as Emotional Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Bader’s Development Model of Couple Therapy.

She provides a safe and non-judgemental space for couples to address their concerns, helping them recognise the skills and understandings to work on and resolve their issues together.  Her goal is to work with couples to achieve effective communication, re-establish trust and reconnection, and build resilient and sustainable relationships based on truth and respect.
